Dissatisfaction guaranteed...or your country back!

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. “
Alexis de Tocqueville

Dissatisfaction guaranteed…..Or your country back!

That title is NOT referring to my coffee… Sumatra Mandheling. Since I haven’t heard back from you via email or comments, I can only assume you sit there at your pc reading week after week with your own good cup of brew, like myself. Like I said last week, you could come on over and let me make you a cup. Coffee is the key to the Barbers’ hospitality. Nothing says “welcome” like the sweet, smooth aroma of a pot of coffee, freshly brewed…there’s always one at my house. And especially if you add a fresh baked chocolate chip or macadamia nut cookie to the menu!

In 1909 an American icon was born: The Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. (1)
If you saw this, or saw a product on the approval list in the Good Housekeeping magazine, you felt comfortable purchasing the product. A guarantee was behind this seal and it meant:

“...that if a product was not as advertised in the magazine, legitimate complaints would be taken care of by replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price to the consumer.”

Believe it or not, the government put their hands in this too! In 1975, GH had to replace the words in the seal with "Limited Warranty to Consumers: Replacement or Refund if Defective."

Our trusty government felt that the original label was misleading.

Isn’t that irony at its best?

Friends, it’s time to call Washington elitists out and prove once and for all what they are doing to us and this great country called America! They are governing with a “Dissatisfaction guaranteed…or your country back” mentality! They could care less about polls, about our concerns, our needs, etc. This 111th Congress and Obama administration basically has put a foot up our butts and told us to “shut up or else”.

Excuse the analogies but they are so true.

It’s about time that label get applied with every piece of legislation that comes from the romper room chambers in the Capitol. Let’s take a look at some headlines over the last few months to see if my assumptions are remotely accurate.

So, we have 73% of Americans that say we’re going down the wrong track. Socialism isn’t wanted here.

We have over 60% supporting Arizona’s new immigration law. But it doesn’t matter.
A liberal, Clinton appointed judge says, “So what? Come on in illegals, kill our citizens, steal our money, and vote for us.”

We have memos circulating among the agencies looking for ways to grant amnesty without Congress’ approval. This is a blatant, direct attack on the Constitution.

We have citizens believing Government is a major threat to our lives.
What’s that famous saying by Thomas Jefferson?

“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government
fears the people, there is liberty. “

I hear more and more people state they fear their government and our future as a republic.
That’s scary. The lefts tactic, right out of the Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky, is to hit us every which way but loose, constantly, one thing after another, until we are so weary we give up.

#10 under #7 on Tactics (several are listed under #7):

10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.” (2)

Need I say more? This is exactly what they are doing to us.

And the result is, deliberate "Dissatisfaction guaranteed"!

Now that you know it, don’t give up. Do what you can to take back this country. Talk to your neighbors, talk to your friends at work, church (yes, even church where it really should be brought up), the grocery store line, McDonald’s, etc. Write your letters to the editors.
Start your own blogs. Do something besides sit there!

Go the easy route if you must (I won’t mind) – pass on the link to this blog.

At least you’re doing something!
And if you don’t, blame yourself. Not me. I’m doing my part.

Let’s change the attitude in America.

We as consumers, citizens, moms, dads, grandmas, students and kids
should insist on:

The immigration situation is so ridiculous.Jan Brewer asked Obama to personally come to Arizona to see how bad the problem really is and he said he was too busy and that National Security was taking care of it all, but he had time to make a appearance on "The View".....Come on!! Makes me sick.. Good for the state of Arizona doing what they have too to keep illegals from killing people, not paying taxes, taking up space in the hospitals, and not contributing one bit to America. There are so many issues that make America wrong on so many levels. I cannot wait for 2012!!!!

Me too Rebekah! Something tells me we're not the only ones!

I hope you saw what happened today in VA. The AG said it was ok to ask for papers from anyone the cops think is illegal! Now we have 2 states. Wonder how many more will join the ranks? Then what is PBO and friends suppose to do?

State rights vs Feds.

Thanks for commenting.

Well since the comment feature was broken on your previous Home, and the landlord refused to fix it, I had got out of trying to comment. My google account will only sign on with my first name which is so common as to be useless so I guess my comments will say anonymous at the top but Townsend at the bottom. I hate this distorten word sign on system but everybody has them...Townsend
