Kill the loopholes. Reagan did and we had some of the best economic times ever. But why was that? Because taxes went down, tax revenues went up.

Go with flat tax or Consumption tax.

Want to be fair? Have the 49% not paying taxes start paying. A consumption tax means even the drug dealers will pay.

Mr. Johnson is right - stop bashing the wealthy. They can buy far more than me. That's ok. It means somebody had to make it which means somebody had to hire somebody to work for him/her.

Oh I like his comment: "I've seen poor. I've seen rich. And I like rich better."

Me too. Although I ain't rich!

Herman Cain and I quote:
“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself…"

Apparently you have not been working hard enough Mrs Barber. I think Mr Cain is missing the point of the middle class who feel like the deck is stacked against them.

It's not Wall Street, big banks, big oil nor Bill Gates or whomever you want to say responsibility to ensure my good life. It's mine.

If I don't save for retirement or a rainy day or if I don't get myself going early in life and get off my butt and do something myself, IT'S MY FAULT! Nobody else's.

Man, I wish Ms Fannie was here to go tell those kids on "Operation Wall street" something. She would tell them the exact same thing: "Blame yourself kid. You are in America and you have a choice to do good or bad, right or wrong, etc. Get off your butt and go to work."

Gotta love Ms. Fannie. She never blamed a Democrat nor Republican for her lack of judgment and she lived to be 86. And thought life was good. Never had a HDTV, 2 cars, cell phone nor did she EVER take food stamps. But could. We were that poor when I was a kid. Nope. She told me it was up to me to make a life for myself and no one else.

Live or Die. Sink or swim. Smart woman. Yep, Ms. Fannie was one smart woman. I never saw it until she died 3 years ago. Never saw how smart my mama was.
