A Time for Choosing

Ronald Reagan: A Time for Choosing Speech, 1964 (Below is an excerpt from one of the finest speeches ever. It should be required reading!) You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done." http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/1964reagan1.html

  4. Whoever is left standing after the Republican circular firing squad will not stand a chance against Obama. Even Glen Beck knows he is going to get re-elected:

  5. I am reminded by a verse in the Bible that says "Let fools be fools".

A debater in chief is not what America needs. If you want a debater vote PBO. If you want reform, vote Republican.

Believe what you want. Obama has deliberately tried to ruin America and turn it into a socialist society.

If he was so great and his policies were exactly what America needed, unemployment would be low and companies would be hiring.

It's not. Numbers don't lie! We have the highest number of people on welfare under him. We have high unemployment like the Carter days. The misery index is disgusting. Sounds like a student of Saul Alinsky! Oops. that's right. He taught Rules for Radicals at Harvard.

But refer back to the first sentence whenever you believe America is doing just fine under his rule! And don't even try to give me "it's the Republicans fault". Nope, it's Harry's fault for not bringing the bills passed by the house that ARE Business friendly and very capable of getting our economy started again. Harry has stalled deliberately. Obama is spewing out class warfare.

Another Bible verse: "A House divided will not stand." That's right. Obama is dividing America. Black against White. Poor against the darn middle class. Rules for Radicals.

I like rich people. They give me a job. Not the government.

Oh I like it when rich people have money. They back new drugs that keep us alive (I work in the industry). I like rich people because they invest in companies to bring new items to the market - Chevy Volt (hate it but some like it), new restaurants. Which reminds me...hmmm do the occupiers eat at restaurants? Do they go to grocery stores? Do they eat at all? Because if they do well lordy somebody rich started the grocery chains. Somebody used capitalism to start the trucking industry to get the food from the farmers to the grocery store for them to eat.

    So hypocritical.

So now you're believing Glen Beck? Good. That means you've probably heard something worthwhile. I have yet to hear how PBO tingles his legs.

On the "firing squad" comments - Are you looking for the great man messiah to replace Biden? Surely not. That's not the party way. It will be fun to watch the bumbling idiot of a VP again. He's great material.

(They are even more fun to watch out of office.)

  6. You work in the Drug industry!? That industry is so in bed with the Government it is laughable! I do not like the government except when the are enforcing our patents, except when they are investing public money in research for private profit, except when they are cracking down on makers of herbal supplements, and except when they are throwing up barriers to foreign manufactured drugs. Mrs Barber you should thank the big government for all it does for your industry.
