Just tell me how else can you explain your party's attitude toward us - The American people? And you think I should vote for you. NO! I refuse to vote for anyone who is bent on ruining the country I love. And It isn't just a case of different opinion. It's a case of pure hate for my right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and freedom of speech and freedom to worship a God that gave YOU life!
The article below is just another example to prove my point. They are willing to defy PBO's own words, "No one making less than $200,000 will see their taxes go up", and increase our taxes anyway! It's not about America and her future. It's about power and the Democratic Party's future. Screw America. The left doesn't care if you or I go broke, go hungry, go homeless. The War on Poverty has been waged for years and it's still NOT WON no matter how many programs have been implemented. Most have failed. Shame shame shame!
Democrats open door to letting taxes rise in 2013 to reset debate with GOP
Senate Democrats appear willing to use your paycheck to play political hardball on taxes unless Republicans agree to President Obama's plan to raise taxes on America's top earners.
A top Senate Democrat warned Monday that, if Republicans don't relent, her caucus is willing to let all the Bush-era tax rates expire at the end of the year -- in effect threatening to let the country fall off what many in Washington call the "fiscal cliff."
That cliff is approaching at the start of 2013, when the Bush tax cuts are set to expire and billions of dollars in automatic spending cuts -- spawned by last summer's debt-ceiling debate -- are set to take effect. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are hoping to shift around those spending cuts to spare key areas like defense, and to temporarily extend the Bush tax rates for at least some Americans. Some have warned a failure to do so could send the nation back into recession.
But Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., indicated Democrats are willing to let the deadline pass in order to better their negotiating position.
"So if we can't get a good deal, a balanced deal that calls on the wealthy to pay their fair share, then I will absolutely continue this debate into 2013 rather than lock in a long-term deal this year that throws middle-class families under the bus," she said in an address Monday afternoon at the Brookings Institution. Murray is head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the campaign arm for Senate Democrats.
In the remarks, Murray explained that if all the tax cuts expire, then that will diminish the GOP argument that the Democratic plan is tantamount to a tax hike -- because come 2013, any change to the tax code would be a tax cut.

combined with the "sequestration" agreed upon by the republican's last year this will show our resolve to get this countries debt under control. 2 ways for us to solve our debt, increase revenue & decrease spending and both will begin on Jan 1 2013. congress being keenly aware of it's own inability to curtail spending instead enacted the budget control act which will reduce spending automatically.
these tax breaks have existed for the last 10-12 years, where are all the jobs that were suppososed to be created? oh that's right mr. romney and his ilk outsourced them to china, india and parts unknown. let's all agree to pay a little more, live with a little less and get our national debt under control. this get's us going in that direction. A - The President could have proposed fiscal policies.
The blame goes both ways but for Patty Murray to hold a threat over the American people is despicable.
You can't sit there and just blame Romney. Your own Prez and wife have 459K invested overseas. And has outsourced a heck of alot! Along with the cronies.
You know as well as I do that a Democrat won't decrease spending. Hey they won't keep their darn hands out of the lottery pot - Dumpling stole from it.
So the Reps don't need to answer Patty and the others. Call their bluff. Hopefully we will throw out quite a few Dems in November. Then I'll be right with you if the Reps don't do as we mandated.
