Janet Loses More than $4.3 million!

We relayed information last week about the mishap (if you want to call it that) that NC Treasurer, Janet Cowell, had made - investing in Facebook stock and losing $4.3 million in state retiree funds.   She loses then sues them!   See article  "Squeaky Clean Erskine...": (http://freshbrewedconservatism.blogspot.com/2012/08/squeaky-clean-erskine-hes-bowling-in.html)

Now it appears Ms. Cowell is losing serious support that ought to be a given considering she's a Democrat.  Her date with destiny, oh I mean Erskine and buying Facebook stock, wasn't such a smart decision.

At least that's what the SEANC (State Employees Association of NC) thinks:

On the heels of NC State Treasurer Janet Cowell receiving criticism regarding possible conflicts of interest involved in the state pension fund’s investment in Facebook’s IPO (and subsequent lawsuit), today we receive news that the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) is refusing to make an endorsement in the race for state treasurer.
