I've said before blogging is fun. Really fun. I get to tangle with the left. Some of them actually can debate. Then there are those that no matter what is said, they bash the messenger and divert from the message. And they simply look as if they are going insane. Ok. Let a fool be a fool.
That being said, in 2008, President Obama won NC by only 14,000 votes. Which means the Senator Hagan and Governor Dumpling rode his coattails. All is well. Ahhh...No it isn't.
First, Amendment 1 supporters won almost 2 - 1 on amending the NC Constitution so that marriage is defined as between a man and a woman. And on the economic front ...not so good news for Obama there either. NC Unemployment rate has consistently hovered above the national average: NC is at 9.6%. Lee County's is worse. So the notion that NC is going for Obama this time...not too sure anyone can say that. Especially when Pat has a good lead on BevPart2.
The DNC has had to reduce the "fun" at the convention this year. The unions will not "bail them out" because they chose a right to work state. And the Obama campaign tries to make us believe they are just "limiting the size of the crowds". Really? Where's the karma, Barry?
And now this....from the Fayetteville Observer..
Poll among N.C. voters: Romney, 56, Obama, 38
A poll by Descartes Research Group of Washington, D.C., released a poll Monday that shows Mitt Romney with a substantial lead over Barack Obama among a survey of N.C. voters.
And other national polls are showing a much tighter race than before. Nope, I wouldn't hand NC over to Obama. Bev and Barry can't run from the numbers. Try as they might...they can't.
