Another One Bites the Dust!

A headline Monday concerning the nation's largest movie theater company, Regal Entertainment Group, reminded me of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust":
 Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
There are plenty of ways you can hurt a man
And bring him to the ground
You can beat him
You can cheat him
You can treat him bad and leave him
When he's down
But I'm ready, yes I'm ready for you
I'm standing on my own two feet
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
repeating the sound of the beat

Have a little trip down memory lane with this youtube video of Queen performing the song:

The new mandate of  the so-called "Affordable Health Care Act" is reeking havoc all across our country.  Companies are required to provide healthcare coverage for any employee that works 30 or more hours a week if that company has 50 or more employees.
And thanks to that most affordable mandate (ha ha ha), movie theaters all across the country are reducing employees' hours!

Nation's biggest movie theater chain cuts workweek, blaming ObamaCare

"....Regal Entertainment Group, which operates more than 500 theaters in 38 states, last month rolled back shifts for non-salaried workers to 30 hours per week, putting them under the threshold at which employers are required to provide health insurance. The Nashville-based company said in a letter to managers that the move was a direct result of ObamaCare...."

But they are not the only ones!  The article ends with this stunning news:

"In addition to the movie theater chain and several restaurants, the state of Virginia also rolled back the hours of all part-time employees back to 29 per week in February, with officials from the state claiming that the new mandate would cost the state tens of millions of dollars a year."

Say it ain't so!  Government workers?  About time they feel the pain the private sector has for years.  I hate all of it but they shouldn't be immune to what the public feels.

But let's name some other companies out here in Realville who are making hard choices because of Obamacare:  Sagebrush, Olive Garden, Applebees, Medical Device Manufacturers, etc!  How many freaking companies have more than 50 employees?  You can't look at your local Applebee's or Roses or Belk's for the true answer.  They are part of corporations.  And corporations (who  are hated by liberals) have many locations.  It's a no win situation when it comes to Obamacare.  It's not affordable.  It's not "care".  It's a tax.  It's a way to punish the earners in America.   It's a way to make us all have to be on government healthcare so they can control us from cradle to grave.  Actually...

It's a perfect way to redistribute misery!

I sincerely hope none of you will be a stat of this monstrosity.  But unfortunately, Obamacare is no respecter of persons.  And the elitists in DC could care less about you and me.
