"Rain" Tax?


We breathe.  Therefore, we owe.  That's the new slogan for these over-reaching zealots who say they represent us.  Give the Sanford City Council much longer and they will not only propose a "rain tax", but will blame it on Commissioner Womack as well.  

Seriously, get out of the mindset folks that this stuff won't happen in Lee Co...

Maryland decides to tax residents when it rains
A "storm management fee" will be imposed on Maryland residents by Gov. Martin O'Malley — meaning that Maryland is essentially going to tax the rain that falls on people’s property.

The Maryland government, under direct order of Obama and the EPA will now begin taxing the state’s 10 largest counties according to the rain that falls on their property and the “impervious surfaces” on their land.
