The Runaway Lottery Commission: Part 1

 

Now you all know Dumpling and the Dems absolutely believed the Lottery Commission would stay under budget.  And that sales were going to skyrocket so much that no additional requests for funds would be needed.  Bless their cotton-picking hearts.  They lied.

Here's the current budget (2014) and the "requested" budget for 2015 from the Commission:

$9,000,000 for TV?  Reserves for salary increases up 104%?  $13,257,526 for salaries? Then commission?  Overtime?  Why are they paying overtime? Longevity?  What kind of group is this?
