Per The New Yorker: I am an idiot

In response to the New Yorker article entitled "Many in nation tired of explaining things to idiots"

First, climate change as you see it is not a done deal. There are plenty of legit scientists who don't agree with you. Check out this article from the Wall Street Journal: Climate science is not settled

Second, gun control will only reduce gun deaths. So after gun control do we move on to knife control like people are calling for in Britain? Read about it here: British Police Calling for Knife Ban  What do we control after that? Remember, Cain killed Abel with a rock. It isn't the tools that need controlling, it's people who need to learn self-control, better ways to handle their anger, and the value of human life.

Third, the confederate flag flying at state capitols is none of your business unless you live in one of those states. If you do then your opinion and input is welcomed. If you don't, quit sticking your nose into other states' business and work on cleaning up your own state's problems instead.
