The answer to your question is simple-- the ad does NOT promote education or economic growth.
Perhaps it shows a lack of LEEDership from this political action committee. It is unfortunate but true that local businessmen and politicians will stoop to this kind of libelous, cut-throat activity. How sad it is that local 'good old boys' like Donnie Oldham, Larry 'Doc' Oldham, Chet Mann, Jamie Kelly, Kirk Bradley, Ron Hewett, David Nestor and others are willing to pool their resources to be "destructive" rather than "constructive" or "instructive" in their community!
Be encouraged, though, that the citizens of Lee County know the truth about these phonies who are feigning concern about our future educational achievements and our long-term economic prosperity. The voting public will express their disdain for false attack ads at the ballot box. Just you wait and see.
Geez all that money they are putting towards an ad in hopes of defeating someone not on the ballot.
I thought these were caring people? I'm sure all of the individuals I saw standing outside of the Bread Basket today would appreciate it if they took the money and bought them new clothes or gave them money to buy groceries.
But that would mean they would be walking the talk they talk.
