Correct me if I am wrong, but I did not think that any election results could be certified until the end of the month by law? After all Military absentee ballots that are post marked by the election have several days to come in. Anybody know how long it takes to get mail from Iraq or Afghanistan?

November 12 is when the official counts come from the counties. Then the recount can be requested.
It takes a good 4-6 weeks for packages to get to Iraq/Afghanistan from the states. Probably a bit shorter for letters.
