Just today, Dardens Restaurants, parent company of Olive Garden and Red Lobster announced they supported an Alabama Olive Garden refusing to let the American Flag be used by a Kiwanis group!
The restaurant said it would be a distraction!

Dear Olive Garden managers,
We can show you a distraction.
I challenge all of you who like Olive Garden (I love them - well, I did) to either boycott
or wear something proudly displaying the American flag when you go there.
Make sure you also ask if you're dressed appropriately for the fake Italian Restaurant.

Alright, so the group could do the Pledge Of Allegiance and I am presuming they did it out loud, but they were not allowed to put a flag in the corner or over by their tables? Why? This makes no sense. Would a Boy Scout have to cover up his uniform? The actions of this company are pretty not understandable. I bet they would have seated a group wearing Swastika armbands, but not a group that wanted to have a flag. Sometimes things just do not make sense. Our Flag is not distributive or offensive in anyway.
