ALERT: Banning Chick-FIL-A from NC State..

So there's a petition flying around for people to sign.  The petition is to ban Chick-FIL-A from NC State.  Will someone remind me...doesn't NC State get taxpayer funds?  Yea, I thought so.  Wouldn't it be nice if we could ban where our tax payer dollars go?

How about flood NC State Chancellor's office with support for it.  How about call the Board of Governor's for the UNC System and let our voice be heard.

The article is below.  The phone numbers are too.  Start calling!

Petition started to ban Chick-fil-A from NC State

RALEIGH, N.C. — An N.C. State graduate student is demanding that Chick-fil-A be banned from campus after their leader made controversial remarks about gay marriage.

Jose Chavira started an online petition Friday and has gathered a couple hundred signatures. It seeks to get the university to remove the restaurant from the Atrium food court on campus.

Chick-fil-A made national headlines recently after its president said he believes in that marriage should only be between a man and a woman.

“There’s quite a large LGBT community on campus and it’s almost offensive in a sense that our university is willing to maintain this relationship with an organization that blatantly discriminates against a portion of our student body,” Chavira said.Chick-fil-A maintains it does not discriminate against anyone.

Blatantly discriminates? What has Chick-Fil-A done to a single student at NC State? Name a single discriminatory act against any person there! Come on, media - you have to ask questions at a press conference, not just suck and swallow.

I seem to recall a certain vocal and rabidly hostile minority group targeting businesses based on the religious beliefs of the owners. . . . "Krystal Nacht!" Not in my country, this land of the free!
