Biden...Too Big to Fail?

When I think of ol' Joe, I tend to think of Dan Quayle, as well.  Both VPs are a perfect picture of   "foot in the mouth" type of guys.  But as usual, the lame stream media excuses anyone on the left -  like Joe.

So is Joe too big to fail?  You know, like GM was?  And like all those rich guy banks that Obama says he despises but bailed out anyway and uses like no tomorrow?  Or maybe like the unions?   Is this why they are keeping him on the ticket?  Frankly I'm happy they are.  Gives me alot to write about and laugh about.

Plus what a picture of desperation it would be if  Obama dumped Biden for Hilary this close to an election?  I wondered in a post yesterday if Biden wasn't deliberately making these blatant gaffes to give Obama an excuse to replace him.  But according to the WH today, Biden will stay on the ticket.  This week that is.

To honor "Honest Joe"...Let's recap some of those "Bidenisms"!
http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/joebiden/a/bidenisms.htm

Really?  Our VP is this stupid?

"My mother believed and my father believed that if I wanted to be president of the United States, I could be, I could be Vice President!" --Joe Biden, campaigning in Youngstown, Ohio, May 16, 2012

"I promise you, the president has a big stick. I promise you." --Joe Biden, citing Theodore Roosevelt's famous quote, "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." (April 26, 2012) (What really goes on in the White House?  LOL!)

"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me." --Joe Biden, speaking at a town hall meeting in Nashua, New Hampshire, Sept. 10, 2008 (Source(I agree with this one!)

Oh yesterday's:
“Look at what they [Republicans] value, and look at their budget. And look what they're proposing. [Romney] said in the first 100 days, he's going to let the big banks write their own rules -- unchain Wall Street. They're going to put y'all back in chains." --Joe Biden, speaking to a largely African-American audience in Danville, Va., Aug. 14, 2012
  Duh?

"In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian-Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking," he said.

Pathetic:

In perhaps his most awkward gaffe, Biden asked Missouri state Sen. Chuck Graham, who is confined to a wheelchair, to stand up and wave to his campaign event audience.
"Stand up, Chuck, let 'em see ya," he said. Upon seeing that wasn't going to happen, Biden said, "Oh, God love ya, what am I talking about?"

Wow what an example for our kids to look up to:

In 2010, during the health care law signing ceremony, a live microphone picked up Biden saying, "This is a big f---ing deal," to President Barack Obama.

shelia,
once again your facts don't add up, please look at who gave the banks 750 billion of taxpayer money. it was george bush. that is a simple fact you continue to ignore, i can't understand why aside from the fact that it doesn't play well to your desired narrative.
please look at your "small government" darling mr ryan and his numerous request for stimulas money that still goes unmentioned on this blog. can you state the foreign policy position of the repulican team? i know the olde "we must lead" line but what is the real position? continue the war in afghanistan while positioning america to engage iran? a return to neocon principles is not something the overwhelming majority in our country want yet that's what they propose and you seem to support.
quick you need to dig up some scary black man propaganda to put in the lead story before the fear factor drops. "A"

OMG You're insane.

Too big to fail can't be put on a Democrat huh?

You prove my point so many times...FBC makes the obscene the obvious.

Awesome!!!

Oh, Sheila. Some of us are paying attention to what you say, at least for the time being, because what you say is just so... well the word "specious" comes to mind. Anyway...

Which point of yours, did A prove, exactly? No, really, which one? And, you said he proved it "so many times." Do tell.

Also, do you realy think your puerile remarks ("What really goes on in the White House? LOL"; "Duh?"; "Really? Our VP is this stupid?"; "OMG You're insane.") are appropriate? You mentioned that you didn't think that VP Biden's mistake about Sen. Graham was something "our kids" could look up to, but I have to tell you, I dearly hope that "our kids" learn how to write, how to speak and how to think. Your comments in the above posts, taken together, are good examples of none of those academic virtues. Doesn't that bother you, that the body of your work is no more expressive than a 13-year old's vocabulary for text messaging?

"Too big to fail?" Are you so arrogant to think that those on your side are not equally capable of all kinds of failure? I'm kind of serious here. Childish insults aside, does this post even have a point? A premise? Supporting evidence? Or are you just shooting off at the mouth? This kind of - whatever it is - may play well with the baser elements in your party, and might even get your candidates a few votes. I really, really hope that there are a whole bunch of smart Republicans in this county scratching their heads, going, "man, we have got to get control of our party back from these crazies."

But, I'm really getting confused as to what you think you are on this little blog. A journalist? Entertainer? Heckler? What do you think your role is? If you're not sure, I'd be glad to take a stab at it for you.

UNANIMOUS, you seem to be an excellent example of the "baser elements" in Sheila's party to which I referred in my earlier post. Your post is full of the same elementary-school content that so frustrates so many of us about this blog in particular and conservative thought in general. Other than that simple observation, I find in your post nothing interesting upon which to make comment.

Ah, Jay is in a state of denial. Deflect the question and divert from the subject that BHO is hiding something and for promise to be the most open and transparent administration kinda reaks of a blatant "lie" but that is what democrats do, they lie . . . but who am I but a low life puke, unable to grasp the intellectual greatnest of Jay. . . . "Enquiring minds want to know."

I mean, even your little tagline thing is a misnomer, unless you happen to be a national gossip rag. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously like that? "Enquiring minds..." And, what is "greatnest"? But, even for all that, I would give you credit for using your own name on here. It's a symphony of failures. If you are who I think you might be, then I refused to debate you formally on this blog for exactly the same reasons (except the anonimity). And, if you're not that person, then you and he should be drinking buddies.
