The Problem with NC...

 

When the top 2 largest NC employers are state and federal government bodies, we seriously have a problem.  Are you listening McCrory and company?

But no wonder we're going under.  No wonder we can't get out of debt.  No wonder the people of NC are suffering.

Government can't do a thing without taking from me and you.  Get it?

Top 10 largest employers in North Carolina

Who are the biggest employers in North Carolina? And how have they changed over the past decade?
Those are questions answered by the state’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which is prepared by Controller David McCoy. The latest edition, for the fiscal year ending last June 30, was released this week.
Not surprisingly, the federal and state governments figured high on the list, as did giant public companies such as Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) and Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT). Click on the slideshow at the right to see who ranked No. 1.
