Must Fire Google..

Good day, Friends and Frenemies...The Sanford Herald has stated in this morning's paper that they covered the case concerning Mr. Post and "the mailer" that I seem to not have been able to find.  Ok..I'll take their word for it.  I did ask for Bill to correct me, didn't I?  And so sadly, I must fire my search engine!

Much to the Herald's dismay, I did not create that mailer.  I had nothing to do with it.  Sure seems like they wanted to point the origin my way.  NOR would I put it on this blog.  It was not in good taste to say the least.

However, as citizens, we have a right to know the background of our candidates.  Every one of them whether you're a doctor, lawyer, newspaper editor, or peon like me.  Do you think for a moment it wouldn't be on the front page if a Republican lawyer had any questions about the cases he tried?  You bet'cha.   Probably every day knowing the leaning of our hometown paper.   I remember so clearly how a certain sitting commissioner was railroaded like a tank during the 2012 primaries when he wasn't even running.  Must make a sticky note to remind the Herald of the dough they made from the LEED Brat Pac.

That being said, the lawyer isn't the one who gives the sentence.  He isn't the one sitting in a jury.  He is presenting the case to defend his client.  Any good criminal defense lawyer does that!  It's his job.  He gets the credit or the blame.

It's up to the voters to decide if Mr. Post will lean left or stay in the middle.  I am not saying lean right because I already seriously doubt that.  But what the heck!  It's just my little old cotton picking opinion.

If he wins,  I hope he will not do what Mr. Gaskins does...picks and chooses who he will represent.  I know that majority of that council cannot stand my views.  Fine.  But don't disregard what I am saying by my blocking my email address.  If you run for a political office, you DO REPRESENT all the citizens.  Doesn't matter if you agree with them or not.

I love that about House Rep. Mike Stone and Senator Ron Rabin...they don't discriminate.

Care to read what I wrote about Mr. Post and the questions I raised, here you go:
