If Only...A Fresh Brew Mission!

Folks, don't allow anyone, friends, family (frienemies), the media or politicians, etc.,  ever accuse you of misrepresenting them because you have a differing opinion and state so.  Stand your ground.  Make your case. The Constitution gives you the right to ask questions whenever and however and from whomever.  So did those that died while protecting this great country!  Anyway, you may not get the answer you want but that should NEVER deter you.

Go after your legislators at all levels, your local boys and girls, your Governor, your local media, bloggers, and even your President.  Ask them what isn't being asked.  Vet those that want your vote.  Make them take a stand.  At the end of the day you will know you've done what you could for your country.  And I am talking about working both sides - left and right.  Leave no stone unturned!

No one here at the Fresh Brew ever intends to defame and destroy.  Many of  my reactions pertain to articles, editorials or letters to the editor in the local paper, ads, and other forms of
communication as in blogs, headlines, etc. I love to write about my grandson. But this blog's main purpose,  along with the other authors here, is to make the obscene the obvious.  And to inform!

Somewhere along the line an email to our local media talking heads has become a fiery storm!   An email where, I am being honest here, I thought I could clear up some controversy once and for all.

Instead,  I am told I did not tell the truth and now have been accused of mischaracterizing and misrepresenting them.  I did no such thing.  I thought this would have been resolved with a previous posting and email, but it isn't.  Therefore, I am compelled to dispel the accusation!
I let people post comments here at the Fresh Brew and I don't moderate them for a reason.  I want to know what the other side thinks.  I also want to give those who disagree a chance to speak up.  You
never know what difference you may make in someone's else's life by standing your ground.   That's my right as the Editor.  And if you don't like it, I can't change that.  What I can do is give you the floor to say why.  I ask you be civil.  I just can't guarantee it will happen.  That's the way it is.  Man up if it bothers you.

Commentors post on their own cognizant.    They are representative of themselves.  They do not represent the views of any author here at the Brew! The Fresh Brew Crew is fully capable of expressing themselves on their own merit!

Now that being said...whatever they think of me around town will not deter me from using this blog to ask questions that others won't or maybe don't want to address.  It will not stop me from questioning those in leadership on their actions nor the local media if I feel something isn't right.  Basically it will not shut me up and that is a problem to them.  If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen!

You live in America.  If you don't like something, do something about it.  But don't shut up.  Stand your ground.  It doesn't matter what others think.  It matters what you think.  And what your heart says.  Question what you think is wrong.  Do not sit by idly hoping someone else will.  But if you need a place to do that, you can ask here.

I agree with Rush...can you imagine what America would be like if our politicians and media at all levels and all forms (bloggers too)  followed what the Founding Fathers had intended for them?

My oh my.
Leave comments on what you think THAT America would be like.

Why would the county manager have an email you sent to the newspaper?

You missed the point.

I was joking saying it would costs you $1150.

Don't you remember the famous cd that was released to Mr. Clark? The county was going to charge me $1150 for the same.
