RECAP THE WEEK!

What an absolutely beautiful weekend  it's been!  I look outside and can't help but think how God paints the sky in the morning.  And tonight, I'll look up and see how he carefully placed the moon and stars for my enjoyment.  Just in case you need reminding, I fully believe lattes and cheesecake were made especially for me, too.  YOU just get to enjoy it too!

That being said, WOW what a week!  There are several events that happened that stunned most of us.   Read on...

MOST EXCITING:
Tuesday's  victory in Wisconsin was huge.  Like Rush says, everytime conservatism is on the ballot it wins.  True Conservatism, that is.  Not the John McCain type. Not the type that suspends a campaign because he cares (McCain again).  Not the RINO type like we've seen here in Lee County.  But true conservatism.  Bold Conservatism.

The public sector unions have taken advantage of the taxpayers.  All Governor Walker asked was for them to contribute a portion to their own retirement and health plans.  What's wrong with that?  Did you know NC  state employees from day one contribute 6%?  No choice.

What is far more interesting is that when Walker took over 62,000+ were in public sector unions.  As of Tuesday, there were 28,000.  Now why do you think that?  Given the CHOICE of joining a whole heck of alot of them chose to keep their money.  This, my friend, is what you call  liberty.

Of course, the MSM can only find sore losers.
Here's one.  I'm sure most of you have seen the video or heard the audio on talk radio.

I love this quote I heard this week on Beck:  "If Democracy died Tuesday night, the Republic survived!"   Hallelujah!
And I don't care how the mainstream media plays down the victory or how they attempted to demonize Walker .... (click and view video)

...THEY LOST.  America won!
MOST "OUT OF TOUCH":
The President of the United States...the same country that has seen millions of people lose jobs, mainly in private sector, millions go on Food Stamps, consistent high unemployment...yea, that President says this:
“The private sector is doing fine,” the president said during a White House press conference. “Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. … If Republicans want to be helpful, if they really want to move forward and put people back to work, what they should be thinking about is how do we help state and local governments.”

DUMBEST:
Southern Lee Students can't graduate with class because of prank.  No, it wasn't a prank.  It was vandalism.  Sorry parents..give them tough love.  That's what they need.  Not excuses.
Anybody else would have been handcuffed and thrown in jail!
